The regular monthly meeting of the Town Board of the
Town of Dryden was held at the Town Clerks office on May 2 , 1949
at 8 : 00 P . M . . . .
• Present were Supervisor Charles G . Downey , Hwy . Supt .
Stacy Beach and Justices Harry Spaulding , Orrie Cornelius , Alvord
Baker and Ara, ' Johnson ;
Supervisor Downey presiding .
Mr . . Mort Gascon and Mr Edward DeGiacomo of West
Dryden ware present to discuss with the . Members of the Town Board.
the repairs and wiring of the West Dryden Church . After the discuss -
ion it was decided to call a Community meeting for May79 , 1949 at
8 : 00 P . M . when all interested persons could discuss with the
Town Board the plans for using the Nest Dryden Church in- connection
with the Youth Project :
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice
Cornelius that the General bills Totaling $ 661 . 93 be payed as audited.
Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting YES .
Moved by Justice Johnson and seconded by Justice - Baker
that the Highway bills totaling $ 1699 : 99 be pa*d as audited .
Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting YES .
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice
Baker that . 5000 , be transferred from the General Fund • to Item
111 of the Highway in order to pay Cash for the Caterpillar
Grader . Carried and so ordered ; . .
Justice Spaulding- offered the following resolution-
and asked its adoption

RESOLVED , that the Supintendent of Highways be
empowered to rent the Stone Crusher to any Municipality at the
State rate of j 35 . 00 for an 8 hr: day plus the Opy4eator ' sE Salary ;
Seconded by Justice Johnson: Carried and so ordered; . -
The next regular monthly meeting will belieldton .

on May 9th: ; 1949 at 8 : 00 P . M.
Present were Supervisor Charles Downey , Justices -
! . Alvord Baker , Ara Johnson and Dewey Whitford ;
Justice Whitford Offered the following Resolution
and asked its adoption

The Town Board of the Town of Dryden does hereby
authorize Mr Mort Gascon , Freeville , N . Y . RI01 to
proceed and purchase the necessary materials as estimated
for the wiring of the West Dryden Church:
Seconded- by Justice Johnson .
Carried and so ordered;
Moved by Justice Whitford and seconded by Justice
Johnson that the meeting be adjourned :
