The regular monthly meeting of the Town Board of the
Town of Dryden was . held at the Town Clerks office on December 4419483
at 8 : P . M .
Present were Supervisor Charles Downey and Justices
Harry Spaulding , Orrie Cornelius , Alvord Baker , Ara , Johnson: and
Dewey Whitford .

audited . . Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting YES .

Johnson : that the Highway bills totaling : * 455 . 75 be paid as • audited,
Carried by a roll call vote . All Justices voting YES . .
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice
Johnson that the First National Bank of Dryden , N . Y . be designated''. )
as the depository for the Town of Dryden Monies for the year . •
' 1949 ; Carried and so ordered , . .
On motion by Justice Johnson and seconded by Justice
Cornelius the_ following Constables . were duly appointed for the
year 1949 , " Freeman Carpenter , Freeville , N . Y . ; Edward Weiser , Etna ,,
MY . ; Ira - Reed , Varna , . N . Y. Carried by a roll call vote . All
Justices voting YES . .
The Members of the Town Board" designated - Dec . 30 , L9483
as Annual Audit Day . Meeting to be held at _ 9 : 00. A . M . at the Town
Clerks office .
Moved by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice
- Johnson that all checks and bills be issued. by Dec . 1641548 .
Carried and so ordered . "
Thematter of Salary increases for the employees of the
Highway Department was favorably discussed . by the Members• of the
Board :
The next regular monthly meetingof the Town Board
will be held on. January 3 , 1949 . at 8 : P . M .

The Members of the Town Baord of the Town of Dryden
met at the Town Clerks office on December 30 , 1948 at 9 : 00
A . M1, for the Annual Audit of the year 1948:
Present were Justices Harry Spaulding , Orrie Cornelius
Alvord Baker , Ara Johnson and Dewey Whitford ;
Juctice Cornelius nominated Justice Spaulding to act
as Chairman of the Audit' Board, seconded by Justice Baker; ,
All Books oft the Town Supervisor Charles G . Downey
and Highway Sup ' t`; were checked ; All Justices dockets were
inspected and checked ; -
A motion was made by Justice Baker and seconded by Justice
Cornelius that the Books be accepted as audited ,
Carried and so ordered;
On completion of the Audit the meeting was adjourned
with a motion by Justice Baker and seconded by Justice
Whitford ,
