Supervisor Nadolski apprised the Town Board of a request
® from Mr. Richard Menapace, for water service to be installed
at his residence located on Rte. # 281, near the Cortland- install
ville Mall. The service line was never installed to water serv.
accomodate that residence. That road, which is a state
road, has since been widened. Water lines since have been
installed to accomodate the mall, but they are dead end lines.
A discussion followed concerning the problem of 6
in.water lines, dead end lines and the need for correcting
the situation to properly serve the constituents. If
corrected this would also improve the need for firefighting.
Any extension of a water line, in the Town, henceforth
should be an 8 inch line.
