EMERGENCY MEETING
An Emergency Meeting of the Town of Cortlandville
Town Board was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road,
Cortland,, New York with Supervisor Nadolski presiding.
Members present: Supervisor Stanley Nadolski
Councilman Ray Thorpe
Councilman Melvin Pierce
Town Clerk Pauline Parker
Absent Councilman Edwin O'Donnell
Councilman Warren Manning
Supervisor Nadolski called the meeting to order at
11:45 a.m.
RESOLUTION # 14.5 AUTHORIZE TOWN COMMITTAL OF FUNDING
FOR PROPOSED WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT
Motion by Councilman Thorpe
Seconded by Councilman Pierce
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
WHEREAS the Town has made application for Economic committ
Development Administration funding to loop dead-end monies
water mains serving Pall Trinity Micro Corporation and EDA grant
Gutchess Lumber / Cortland Wood Products Corporations, water
and
WHEREAS in said application the Town budgeted 50 percent
of the total cost of $259,196.00 or $129,598.00 to be
borne by the Town, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board hereby commits itself
to finance the Town's share of the Water -System Improvement
Project, and
BE IT RESOLVED that at present the Town of Cortlandville
will seek to use local funds as its share.
Councilman Thorpe made a motion, seconded by Council-
man Pierce, to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the
motion was carried.
