TheRegular Monthly meeting of the Town Board of the
. . Town - of Dryden was held at the Town Clerks office on March I0 ,
1947; at 8 : 00 . P . M .
Present were ' Supervisor Charles G . Downey , Hwy . Supt;
Stacey Beach and Justices Spaulding ,' Cornelius and Hoagland.:
Supervisor Downey presiding:
The minutes of the last meeting were read for
information . •
A letter was read from James Mullen asking for
additional time in order to sell his property to satisfy the
Town of Dryden' s judgement: A motion - was made by Justice
Spaulding and seconded by Justice Cornelius that the Town Board
grant Mr Mullen until May I , 1947 to dispose of said .property,
Carried and so- ordered: . .
A motion was made by Justice Spaulding and seconded
by. Justice Hoagland that the General bills totaling - 4I2OO 32
be paid as read . Carried by a roll call vote . A11 .:. Justices voting

A motion was made by Justice Hoagland and seconded
by Justice Cornelius that the Highway bills totaling $ I092 : 06
. .be . paid as read . , Carried by a roll call vote , All Justices voting

A motion was made by Justice Hoagland and - seconded
by Justice Spaulding that the Welfare report be accepted as mail;
A certified copy. of the Resolution adopted by . the
Board of Supervisors pursuant to Sec : 72 of the Social Welfare
Law received from County Attorney_ Charles Newman was read and
placed . on file : Upon motion made by Justice Hoagland and
seconded by Justice Spaulding it was . Resolved- - - -that on and
after March I , I947 the Town Board of the Town of Dryden duly
designates Supervisor Charles G . Downey to preform the duties
of Service Officer for the Town of Dryden`;
Iuir 0 ' Shea. and Mr Rugg . of the - Dryden - Supply Caa
appeared before the Board to discuss the purchase of a Shovel
for the Highway Department`;
Supervisor Charles Downey and Town Clerk Lois Beck •
gave a report on thei.Associations of Towns Annual meeting at
Albany , N . Y . which they attended;
The minutes of this meeting were read and approved;
On motion the meeting was adjourned';'
