HomeMy WebLinkAbout1947-02-03 FEBRUARY 3 , 1947 1 7 7 - The Regular meathly meeting . of the Town Board of the Town of Dryden was held at the Town Clerks Office on Feb . 3 , I947 at 8 : 00 P . M . • Present were Supervisor Downey , Hwy . Supt . Beach and Justices ' Spaulding , Cornelius , Baker , Hoagland and Johnson . Supervisor Downey presiding . A motion was made by Justice Hoagland and seconded by Jusitce Baker that the General bills totaling $ 1375 . 70 be accepted as read ; Carried by a roll call vote. All Justices voting . - -Yes . A motion was made by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Cornelius that the Welfare report be accepted as read . Carried and so ordered , A motion was made by Justice Johnson and seconded by Justice Baker that the Highway bills totaling $ - 1065 . 99 be accepted as read . Carried by a roll call vote. All austices voting - -Yes . • A motion was made by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Cornelius that the Supervisor be authorized to -proceed with what - ever steps are necessary to dispose of the Jim Mullen property in order to collect the Towns judgement against said person. Carried and so ordered . A letter was - read from Chester Snowberger - of Freeville , N . Y . R # I in regards to the Condition of the road bordering on • his property . After a discussion it was decided that this should be considered on the Spring . road inspection. A letter was read fron J . Winthrop Brown in regards to the gravel used for road repair . The members of. the Town Board instructed the Town Clerk - to answer this letter of Mr Browns . The minutes of this meeting, were read and approved . On motion the meeting was adjourned . -Lois H .
