The Regular Monthly Meeting of the Torn Board of the Town
of Dryden was held at the Town Clerks Office on June I , 1946 at
8 : 00 P . M . Present- were Supervisor Charles G . Downey , Hw ' y ; Supt ;
Stacey Beach and Justices C . •Harry Spaulding , Orrie Cornelius and
Millard Hoagland ; Supervisor Downey presiding .

The minutes of the last meeting were for information
The subject of the Welfare Officers School held at Geneva ,
N . Y . which was tabled at the last meeting was again brought into
discussion; It was decided that underthe circumstances that the
Board would not sanction the Welfare Officers trip to the School
this Year`. •
A motion was made by Justice Cornelius and seconded by
Justice Hoagland that the General Bills totaling IOI ; 05 be accepte
as read; Carried br a Roll Call Vote; All Justices voting - - -Yess
A motion was made by Justice Hoagland and seconded by
Justice Spaulding that the • Highway Bills totaling $ 608;' 66 be
accepted as read;, Carried by a Roll Call Voter; All Justices voting

A motion was made by Justice Hoagland and seconded by
Justice Spaulding that the Welfare Bills be accepted as read with
futher investigation of the Wood Case. Carried and so ordered:
It was brought to the attention of the Board that all /
Owners of property adjoining the Egypt Road should be advised a,
to the proposed abandoning of said road';
A Renewal Contract for the McLean Lighting District was
submitted by the N . Y . State Elea; and Gas Corp'; A motion was made
by Justice Spaulding and seconded by Justice Cornelius that the
Contracttbe accepted ; Carried and so ordered ;
A motion was made by Justice Hoagland and seconded by
Justice Spaulding that the following. slate - of Inspectors of
Election be accepted; Appointed for One Year . Carried and so
ordered;
