SPECIAL MEETING A Special Meeting of the Town of Cortlandville Town Board was held on November 18, 1983 at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York with Supervisor Nadolski presiding. Members present: Supervisor Stanley Nadolski • Councilman Melvin Pierce Councilman -Raymond Thorpe Councilman Warren Manning Town Clerk Pauline Parker Absent: Councilman Edwin O'Donnell Others present was, -.Deputy Town' Clerk, June Bradshaw. Supervisor Nadolski called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.. RESOLUTION # 230 ADOPTION OF THE TOWN OF CORTLANDVILLE adopt budgets for 1984 BUDGETS FOR 1984 Motion by Councilman Manning Seconded by Councilman Thorpe VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED WHEREAS on the70th-day of November 1983, the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville, held a public hearing on the preliminary budgets, approved by the Town Board, and filed with the Town Clerk, for the fiscal year commencing January 1, 1984, and having heard all persons in favor of or against the preliminary budget as complied, or for or against any item or items contained, therefore BE IT RESOLVED that the preliminary budgets, as approved, and filed, and presented before this board at the above public hearing shall be amended by making the following changes therein: DA1120 - revenue increase of 1300.00 corrected to 101,300.00 Fire District Budget decreased in total of $ 1800.00 101 decreased 100.00 corrected 1,400.00 201 100.00 1,400.00 206 200.00 °° 2,000.00 401 200.00 2,300.00 402 °' 300.00 2,700.00 405 " 200.00 3,300.00 411 400.00 10,600.00 422 " 300.00 3,200.00 AND BE IT FURTHER J4-1 Friday, November 18, 1983 Page 2 RESOLVED, that the preliminary budgets approved and filed, with the amendments hereinbefore set forth, and the same hereby is adopted and established as the annual budget of this town for fiscal year begirning January 1, 1984, and such annual budget, as so adopted, be entered in the minutes of the Town Board, and BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Clerk of this town shall prepare and certify, as provided by law, duplicate copies ® of the annual budgets hereby adopted, together with the assessment rolls for the benefit of improvement for the Water Fund and the Sewer Fundy adopted pursuant to Section 202 a of the Town Law, and within five days thereof, deliver two copies to the Supervisor -of the Town, and the Super- visor shall present the copies of the annual budgets to the'Legislature of Cortland County within ten days, after his receipt thereof from the clerk. A discussion followed concerning installing the sewage collection system in Polkville. It is not possible discuss to have the system operating by the time the motel opens. Polkville Different alternatives were discussed. No action was taken. sewage Supervisor Nad.olski reported that the house sold on report Route # 281 is down and should be cleaned up soon. on Wright property Councilman Pierce made a motion, seconded by Council- man Thorpe, to adjourn the meeting.
