A Special.Meeting of the Town of Cortlandville Town
Board was held at the.Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland,
New York on August 15,.1983 at 4:00 P.M. with Supervisor
Nadolski presiding.
Members present: Supervisor Stanley Nadolski
Councilman Melvin Pierce
Councilman Raymond Thorpe
Councilman Edwin O'Donnell
Town Clerk Pauline Parker •
Absent: Councilman Warren Manning
Also present were Attorney, Phillip Rumsey; Engineer,
Peter Novelli; Deputy Town Clerk, June Bradshaw and resident
Ken Andrews.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Nadolski
at 4:00 P.M..
Engineer, Peter Novelli reviewed with the Town Board
the plans and drawings of the proposed Polkville Sewer
discussion Improvement District.
Polkville A discussion followed concerning the time element
Sewer needed and procedures for installing the sewer project.
,The financing of the motel and their commitment for
the -sewer project appears to be in order.
Different alteratives were discussed to let out bids for
the project.
The Town Board requested the Attorney to proceed in
obtaining the necessary easements.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Supervisor is hereby authorized
and directed to transfer funds in the amount of $ 1,500.00
from A1990.4, Contingent Account, to A1620.4 Building
Account, for the purpose of installing air conditioners
in the Town Hall Building.

VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Clerk is hereby authorized
to hire Carole Stehm, as part time help, as needed, for
the issuing of conservation licenses, within budget funds.
Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by
Councilman Thorpe to adjourn the regular meeting. All
voting aye, the motion was carried.
