"n Feb . 8th the town board met afi the office of the town clerk for
regular meeting , having been posponed from the regular date on account of
the storm - and blocked roads . 4.izstices: Beck , Hoagland , C:orneliusand Spaulding v
were present also erupt . of Highways . Downey presiding. .
The minutes of the last meeting were read for information. Welfare bills
and statement were read as follows ; ;

Highway- bills- totaling $ 1977 . 17were read and Cornelius moved these be
paid- as readcseconded by Beck and carried by a roll call vote . . .
A motion wasrmade by Hoagland to purchase the Supplement to the Tompsont
law books and indexYsecondedf by "Paulding and carried by a roll .. call vote . .
A letter from the Supt:, ofHighways was read asking for a new Town Truck
and ask that this letter be filed in Clerks office . This.= matter was discussed
at lengtli , with the result that Cornelius moved -to table the proposition' untilli_
the next meeting seconded by Spaulding and carried . .
Spaulding° moved to recind the motion of Dec 5 1944 in regards to the
sale price of the international tractor being $ 1500 . 00 seconded by Hoagland and
carried . unamiously . .
A motion was made by Beck that the Mimimka., price on this tractor with
lows be 4750 . 00 sec . by Spaulding and carried . Upon motion meeting adjourned.

The clerk read a : letter from RZQ_. . VafMarter: County Welfare officer re -
5arding a mortgage held by the $tWn of Dryden: against: the Horace Williams
property - ( Estate ) . The Supv . gave a . report on this matter and Spaulding mov
that the Town board . accept the $ 375000 , that being the amount of the prinei -
p , seconded by Hoagland and carried by an unamious roll call vote .
