PUBLIC HEARING LOCAL LAW # 1 FOR 1983 AMENDING LOCAL LAW # 1 FOR 1981 CORTLANDVILLE PARK & RECREATION AREAS A Public Hearing was.held at the Town Hall, Town of Cortlandville at 7:30 P.M. to adopt Local Law # 1 for 1983 regarding amending Local Law # 1, 1981 Park and Recreation Rules. • In attendance were Supervisor Stanley Nadolski, Councilman Edwin O'Donnell, Councilman Warren Manning, Councilman Ray Thorpe, Councilman Melvin Pierce, Town Clerk, Pauline Parker and Attorney Phillip Rumsey. Also present were Zoning Officer, Don Fowler; Justice, Donald Eaton; Confidential Sec'y., Edna Puzo; Engineer, Peter Novelli; Legislator, Richard Tupper; Newsreporter Dick Camerano and Peter Iglinski and residents Ken Andrews and Roy Rounseville. The Public Hearing was opened by Supervisor Nadolski. The Town Clerk read the legal notice as follows: LEGAL NOTICE Town of Cortlandville Local Law No. 1 for 1983 Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Supervisor and the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville, Cortland Coun- ty, New York at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Town of Cortlandville, New York on May 4, 1983 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. concerning proposed Local Law No. 1 for the year 1983, amending Local Law No. 1 for the year 1981 to pro- vide for additional prohibi- tion of certain conduct in park and recreational areas in the Town of Cortlandville: PAULINE PARKER, Clerk Town of Cortlandville 15 Terrace Road Cortland, New York Dated: April 21, 1983 97-1t Supervisor Nadolski asked Ken Andrews, Chairman of the Recreation Committee, to explain the two rules that the committee has requested. They are the flying of model airplanes and playing of golf. Councilman O'Donnell asked Ken Andrews if there had been comments from people for or against the park rules. Ken apprised the Town Board he had not received any negative comments. The Recreation Committee is not denying people • us3of the park for those activates. They just want to co-ordinate the activities. No other comments were offered. Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Council- man Pierce, to close the public hearing. All voting aye, the motion was carried. The hearing was closed at 7:35 P.M..
