General bills read , a motion was made by Spaulding to pay as read seconded
by Beck and carried by a roll call vote .
highway bills totaling 4873 : 35 were read and a motion was made by
G;ornelius. to pay as resd seconded by - Hoagland and carried by a roll call votes .

The town board meet at the office of the clerk -in a special session ,
- called in connection with a joint meeting with the Dryden Village board , for
the purpose of planning a Post War project . All justices were present , Supv .
Downey as chairman ; minutes of last meeting read , The names og' Howard
Welch and Lee Sickmam were submitted as Republican aandidates for custodian
of voting machines , A vote by Ballott was taken , with Martin Beck as teller ,
• Results 3 for Welch and 2 for aickman .
The nave of A . G . Blackman was submitted as the Democrat candidate , no
other names being submitted , Nominations deciarea closed . The clerk was or - r
tiered to cast' one bassott for A . u . buackman , Baisott vast and- Balcxmaii deesa '
reccommended7. The appointment or tessers postponed untili next meeting . .
