Theaminutes- of last meeting were read for information . The Supv.:
- 4w reported that poster English had been appointed as a fire Carden for
the - Snyder Hi11 " section} of the town, and that inso far as he.: knew the
appointment . had been accepted ; -
The matter of thepurchase of indian fire fighters for thewarders was
discusses but in as much as there is no provisioniin the budget gor this
purpose a mption was made by Spaulding to table this matter untill the first
of August , seconded by Beck and carried,
rr . - Spaulding proposed the purchase of a supplement to the Tompson Law book
and Hoagland mixed this be purchased seconded by Cornelius and carried
by a unamiousa• roll call vote .

Highway bills read totaling . I270 . 76 were read and a motion was made by
Baker to pay as read seconded by Beck ands: carried by a roll call vote :.
Baker gave a report on the meeting at the West Dryden Church May 6 . 44
concerning the purchase of the church and said that after the people hadbeer
correctly informed as to the reason ofTthe purchase and that it would be •
available for their use they seemed very satisfied . .
A letter was read by the welfare officer , from. JohnlReed • in reply to
her request for larger payments on his bill to the town . A discussion folio
ed , and CT rnelius moved that the welfare officer be instructed to employee

A motion was made by Beck to include Stacy Beach as . $upt , . - of Highways
in the compeSattnn; insurance , seconded by Hoagland and carried ,
Beach informed the beard that he had recieVed a request _ from_ Ulayti
Bowker to repair the road le ding to his place and the Supv ._ stated he i t c
investigate with the Co . to learn if this is a regular highway and what
provision could be made to fill his request ;
A motiorn was made by Baker tht the mid-month meeting be omitted'
unless any of the justices or' Supv . think it neccessary , seconded by Hoagianc
and -carried . '°linuted of the meeting were read and approved . Upon
motion meeting was adjourned; . .
