SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Cortlandville Town Board was
held on February 22, 1983 at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road,
Cortland, New York with Deputy Supervisor Melvin Pierce
presiding.
Board members present were Deputy Supervisor, Melvin
Pierce; Councilman Edwin O'Donnell; Councilman Raymond
Thorpe, and Deputy Town Clerk, June Bradshaw.
Also present was newsreporter, Dick Camerano.
Deputy Supervisor Pierce called the meeting to order
at 4:30 p.m..
RESOLUTION # 51 AUTHORIZE TRANSFER OF FUNDS TO PAY
AMBULANCE CONTRACT
Motion by -Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Thorpe
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the Budget Officer is hereby authorized
and directed to transfer $587.00 from A3510.4 (Dog Control)
to A4540.4 (Ambulance Service) to pay the contracted fee
for the ambulance contract for 1983.
RESOLUTION # 52 AUTHORIZE SUPERVISOR TO SIGN AMBULANCE

VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the Supervisor is hereby authorized
and directed to sign the 1983 contract with Hayes Ambulance
Service, and
RESOLVED that the contract shall be in the amount of $4,887.00,
and such payment shall be paid now in one lump sum.
RESOLUTION # 53 AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS
Motion by Councilman Thorpe

VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the vouchers submitted have been audited
and shall be paid as follows:
General Fund Vouchars #37 - 40 $10,577,90..
Highway " #29 - 30 525.13
Water Fund #15 - 18 1,985•43
RESOLUTION # 54 AUTHORIZE ENGINEER TO OBTAIN RIGHTS -OF -
WAY, EASEMENTS, AND DEEDS FOR LIME
Lime Hollow HOLLOW PROJECT
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Thorpe
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
BE IT RESOLVED that the Town-of-Cortlandville Engineer is
hereby authooized to obtain all rights -of -way, easements,
and deeds which may be required by the Town of Cortlandville
for the Lime Hollow Improvement Project, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the consideration for all such
rights -of -way, easements and deeds shall not exceed $300.00
per acre.

RESOLUTION # 55 AUTHORIZE SUPERVISOR TO PAY SPCA Pay
SPCA
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Thorpe
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
WHEREAS the contract with the Cortland County SPCA has
been approved, but'such contract has not been completed
and signed, therefore,
® BE IT RESOLVED that the Supervisor is hereby authorized
and directed to pay the agreed monthly payment to the
SPCA as they have provided the Town with Dog Control
Services since January 1, 1983, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Supervisor is hereby authorized
and directed to sign the 1983 contract for dog control with
the Cortland County SPCA upon completion of such.
Councilman Thorpe made a motion, seconded by Council-
man O'Donnell, to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the
motion was carried. adjourn
The meeting was adjourned at 4:45 p.m..
