HomeMy WebLinkAbout01-17-1983Monday, January 17, 1983 Page 1 payment vouchers SPECIAL MEETING A Special Meeting of the Cortlandville Town Board was held on January 17, 1983 at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York with Supervisor Nadolski presiding. Board members present were Supervisor Nadolski; Councilman O'Donnell; Councilman Thorpe; Councilman Pierce and Town Clerk, Pauline Parker. Also present were Deputy Town Clerk, June Bradshaw; Engineer Peter Novelli and newsreporter Dick Camerano. Supervisor Nadolski called the meeting to order at 4:30 P.M.. RESOLUTION # 4.0 AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS Motion by Councilman Thorpe Seconded by Councilman'Pierce VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED that the vouchers submitted have been audited and shall be paid as follows: General Fund Vouchers # 1 - 16 $ 6,042.23 Highway 11# 1 - 6 1, 24.2.27 Water Fund if# 1 - 7 3,111.85 Sewer Fund it# 1 - 2 1,969.58 Fire District ly# 1 - 9 2,032.4.5 RESOLUTION # 4.1 AUTHORIZE REQUEST SENT TO STATE LEG- establ.ish ISLATOR' S TO AUTHORIZE ESTABLISHMENT C'Ville Fire Dis+. OF THE CORTLANDVILLE FIRE DISTRICT Motion by Councilman Pierce Seconded by Councilman Thorpe VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED that the Town Board of the Town of Cortland- ville hereby request -Senator Lloyd S. Riford Jr. and Assemblyman Clarence D. Rappleyea Jr., to present to the New York State Legislature, a request to authorize establish- ment of the Cortlandville Fire District, and RESOLVED that the Town Clerk shall send a certified copy of the Resolution to Senator Riford and Assemblyman Rappleyea. • • I 19 . Monday, January 17, 1983 Page 2 A discussion was held concerning submission of Economic Development Administration Grants. Engineer, discuss Peter Novelli, presented the public work projects he Grants was submitting for consideration. He explained`the program also encourages matching funds for programs that would help industry to create jobs. Councilman Thorpe made a motion, seconded by Council- man Pierce, to adjourn the meeting.
