TOWN BOARD SPECIAL MEETING
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville
was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York,
with Supervisor, Melvin Pierce presiding'

Councilman Ronal Rocco
Others present were Roger Branchini and his attorney from
the student housing project; William Porter, of the Groton Ave.
Plaza; John Jackson and Brian Grinter of the Cortland Housing
Group; Ray Franco of SUNY at Cortland; Hayne Smith, Town
Engineer, and Newsreporter, Skip Chapman.
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Pierce at 5:00
p,m..
A special meeting was called to discuss the best possible
method of installing a sewer line to accommodate Mr. Branchini's
student housing project. This Town Board had made a commitment
to provide se*er at his location.
A lengthy discussion period followed in which all persons
in attendance were given the opportunity to express their views
and concerns. No solution occurred. No action was taken.
Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Councilman
Testa, to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the motion was
carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:20 p.m.
