Tuesday August 29,1989 5:30 P.M.
Special Meeting
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville, was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace Road,
Cortland, New York, with Deputy Supervisor- Thorpe presiding.
Members Present;
Deputy Supervisor Raymond Thorpe
Councilman Edwin O'Donnell
Councilman Ronal Rocco
Councilman Theodore Testa
Town Clerk Pauline Parker
absent: Supervisor Melvin Pierce
Others present were Town Engineer, Hayne Smith, Roger
Branchini and Attorney Fred Beck
The meeting was called to order by Deputy Supervisor Raymond
Thorpe at 5:30 o'clock p.m.
Mr. Branchini and his attorney requested the status of the
Branchini Town for providing sewer services to his proposed student
sewer housing project on the West Road. He must start construction of
West Road his project very soon in order to meet his time requirements.
A lengthy discussion was held among those present whereby
it was impossible to provide all of the necessary information
needed and necessary to Mr. Branchini as the aerial photos have
not been received yet to complete the studies
Alternatives methods were also discussed.
It was the consensus of those in attendance that the Town
Engineer will review the feasibility of alternatives suggested
and report his findings to the Town Board at the next meeting on
September 6, 1989.
No action was taken.
Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Councilman
Testa to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the motion was
carried.
The meeting was adjourned t 6:35 p.m.
