The town - board meet at the office of the town clerk , for regular meet -
ing , Justices Beck , Baker , Cornelius , Spaulding were present also Supt. Beach ,
. Supv , weetland reilMjibgent , a motion . wae made and sseconded that Justice4Beak
act as - ahairman . • beck declined whereupon Cornelius was appointed by motion . .
The minutes of last meeting read and were approved , the clerk explained
the circumstances regarding the Whitford bill , and a motion was made by - Spaulding
to pay same as read , secondedlby Baker , and carried by a roll call vote . all yes .
The chairman ask the committee if they had anything to report on the
Question of holding the board meetings in Etna , as there was no report the chair
man declared the Comm . would hold over untill such time as they were ready to
report . .

• k motion was made bit Spaulding , that money be advanced to the town
officals to attend the Assossitions of town meeting held at Albany , to the a
amount of " 25 . 00 per person , includeing the welfare officer , if • she is to con-
tinue •inokfice , seconded by Baker and carried , by roll , call vote , all yes
. - but Beck who voted no . .
A motion was made by Baker seconded by ' Spaulding that each town offical
- attendund the Albany meeting . bring back a complete - report on their respective
offices and give out the information at a mid month meeting. or at a meeting
when there would be plenty of time to discuss same . rolicall vote all yes . .
each ask about the purchase of a drader , no action was taken ., Upon mot
ion meeting was adjourned.

A letter from Supt Beach was read asking for a new truck to replace the
International tractor , same to be purchased before NOv . I 1942 , and ' ,also a built
- ing to house the town machinery . s
The clerk presented a request from Alice Prince asking for improvement
on the Turkey Hill road near her farm . A motion was made by Cornelius to table
ghis request untill the annuall road tour seconded by t'aker • and carried by a ro ]
call vote . Thee welfare bill _ and statement were read as - follows - -
