The town board meet at the office of the town clerk for regular meeting
Justices Beck , Baker , Cornelius And Spaulding , , Supt , Beach were present , Supv
Sweetland in the chair . The minutes of last meeting read and approved .
Supt . Beach reporte & that he had made inquiries into the cost of re -
pairingthe pick -up truck , , and stated such as from # I75 . 00 to $ 250 . 00 ,
Mr . Cooper presentRegarding the sale of a grader . No action was taken .
Beach ask about a raise for road employee ' s , stating they requested. A ten to
Fifteen cent per- hour raise . A motion was made by Spaulding to increase the
machine pperators wage 0 . 05 per hour and the laborers as to the Supt . Judgem-
ent at the same ratr same to be„,effective , Feb_• First . Seconded by Cornelius
and carried by a roll call vote al-lyes .
The wage of the road employees & are at the Dollowing rate -
Shovel operator - - . 55 cente per hour

and statement read as follows ;

A motion was made by Baker to pay as read - seconded by Cornelius and
carried by a roll call vote .
The welfare officer explained that if she was allowed to pay the hos -
pital cash for the hospitalization of the Martin con i eiliot, case_ ', which
is to be reinbursted $to the town , the amount would be reduced from , 50 . E
to 425 . 00 Therefore a motion was made by Spaulding authorizing the welfare
pffieer toipay the 425 . 00 seconded by Baker and carried by , a roll call
vote . .

seconded by Cornelius and carried by a roll call vote .
. Monthly bills read and a motion madeby Cornelius rto pay same as read ,
except the Whitford bill pending an explanation regarding- two entrees seem-
ingly belonging to Freeville village , and also a correction on the Louie Tha -
yler bill . Seconded by Spaulding and carried by a roll call vote . The Clerk
was also advised to inform Mr . Thayler to present his bill , if any afr;. the
. first of' each month .
Highway bills read and motion maae . to pay sa , e as read was made by Cor -
nelius , seconded by ak and carried by aroll call vote . . Chairman ask a
report from the committee , regarding holding board meetings in Etna , Comm .
reported no progress had been made as yet . Chairman ask if the board thought
it advisable to discontinue the mid- month meeting , it was thought best to
wait for a decision on this questionnuntill a full board was present . Supt .
ask about the purchase of a grader , no action was taken . It was decided to
have the town mechanic , Dean Smith repair the Town Pick up truck . Upon motion .
meeting adjourned .

the circumstances regarding the Whitford bill , and a motion was made by - Spaulding
to pay same as read , secondedlby Baker , and carried by a roll call vote . all yes .
The chairman ask the committee if they had anything to report on the
Question of holding the board meetings in Etna , as there was no report the chair
man declared the Comm . would hold over untill such time as they were ready to
report . .

officals to attend the Assossitions of town meeting held at Albany , to the a

- attendund the Albany meeting . bring back a complete - report on their respective
offices and give out the information at a mid month meeting. or at a meeting
when there would be plenty of time to discuss same . rolicall vote all yes . .
