A motion was made by Beck that in as much as it has been necessaey to use more than the $ 2800 . 00 raised by taxfor primarytfl&a work , on town roads that the sum 0 / 3526 , 78 recieved as state aid be allocated to make up the de - felt . This action to be approv ed by the County Supt . . Motion not seconded . Cornelius proposed to table the proposition untill there was a_ full attendance of board members . aA : letter from the Supt. of Highways read asking: for an increase of $ 2 . QOrinpalary and also a raise for road employeeas . . Baker suggested that the town board meetings be held somswhere in Etna Stating that it would be a saving to his tires and Spaulding could wait on cus - tomers and suggested that Beach transport the Supv . and Clerk , to Etna in the Town truck . No action was taken . Beach ask about a raise for road employee ' s , stating they requested. A ten to Fifteen cent per- hour raise . The welfare officer explained that if she was allowed to pay the hos - pital cash for the hospitalization of the Martin con i eiliot, case_ ', which is to be reinbursted $to the town , the amount would be reduced from , 50 .
