meeting~. with all justices welfare officer and bupt : of highways present . 'upv
Sweetland presiding .
A deiegationlfrom the Lansing Town line Road was present , stating the
. condition of their road , and asking for some improvement , also ask that there
be better service - in2 removeing snow in the future , and wanted some snow fence .
A motion was made by Corneliusthat the Supt of Highways-, arrange with
either the Supt . of the Town of Ithaca , or Lansing to plow the Towit of. Dryde$s
Portion! of the town line road . . seconded by Spaulding and carried by a roll call
Vote . Improveing this road was discussed and Supt . Bsachagreed it would be
possiabie_= to make some improvemen_ t . . useing Maaiitainance money .

On- account of a Two months delay on shipment of steel bolts to be used dv

reccomended by Bert Vann . Bolts to be countersunk and covered. with pitch or tar

A motion was ! made by Baker , that the Highway Supt . be Enpowered to take
outLiability insurance on . the Power Mower , seconded by . Cornelius and carried by
a roll call vote :
A motion - was (made by Baker to pay Bailey the bill of $ 12 . 85 on mower as
read , seconded by Spaulding and carried by roll calL vote all yes .
. Mr . Cornelius suggested that the Highway Supt . be present at least once
. a month * &fl - perferably . the mid2month meeting , and report on the progress
of road building and what the cost of each project to date , andialso to . present
the slips regarding. the operating cost of machinery , - and• offered this as a

of part time police protection , up with the town . board and it . :. was. . agreed
That Cornelius take it up with some one ; in Varna who could look after traffic
