The town board meet a t the office of the tawm clerk , for regular monthly,
"meeting ., all ,juistides .,XSupt . of Highways present Supv. Sweetland presiding .
The minutes - of the last two meetings were read and approved-..
A letter was read from Thaler refering to the Legality of hireing Town
police protection; also a letter from the Motor Vehickle Bureau , in answer to 1
Clerks inquiry , concerning gas tax exemption; .
The Clerk as - advised t ^ have an a, i tm published notifying the public
who the fire wardens were and where to call for help in caseof Forest or
grassfires
`ieorgc Bailey was present and went over the i o urae ' e policy acn trucks
and eCuipement for Public Liability and P . D . and the Committee agreed it to be
satisfactory .

A - motiom: was made by Spaulding to endorse the Adamslgrader also on the
present Liability and P . D . - Policy . seconded by Baker and carried by roll call
vote all yes but Beck who voted no .

Have the chairman appoint a committee to consult the people who live on these
roads and request the oiling , and report at the next meeting ; .
Orrie- Cornelius accepted the appointment to see Mr Wat$ 41s and Sweetland
volenteered to see the Rosecrans . Upon motion madr and sec@nded the meeting
was? adjourned;.

The town board meet at the office of the town_ clerk for mid month meeting
all ,justices , welfare officer , and Supt of highways present .
Minutes - of th...e last meeting read and were approved, Cornelius: reported
on- the matter of oiling the monkey run road , to lay the dust . Mr Watrous had
agreed to apply what the town furnished .

Sweetland reported that he had contacted the ones who had requested the
oiling on the Roeecrans:• road and they had decided to get along without the
oiling . •
A: motion was made by C:or nelius , for Supt Beach to furnish and deliver
the neccessary amount of calcium cholride for the monkey run road , ' to be
applied by Watkinsr ,, seconded by Spaulding and carried by a rOlL call. vote .

k motion was Made by Spaulding that Mrs Nicely take out insurance to
protect the town , if the cost did not exceed 45 . 00 , seconded by Baker and ca
rr_ied by a roll call vote . Mrs Nicely turned in $ 27 . 00 from sale of wood .
A motion was made by Cornelius to gay a -bill to Mrs Chaffee of $ 3 . 00 for c
careing for Mrs Carpenter , . seconded by orneiius and carried by a rol , call vot
kt motion was made to par Roy Shoemaker 4 600 . 00 On the 15th of May to
apply on bridge construction , , secomded bgd aarried by a. roll call- - irate .
It was agreed] to hold' the next board meetinvg on June - 2nd . at 8 =30 P .M .
