The town board meet et the office of the town clark , for regular monthly
meeting-, all justices , welfare offocer and Supt of Highways present .

on, for town . A motion was made by Beck to hire Whitford for a two mo .
period on . a pro rata Basis , furnish gas and all and pay $ 68 . 34 as payment On
car Motion not Seconded and motion was withdrawn .
A motion was made by Baker that the Supv . appoint a comm . to work with
. Redmore and Whitford regarding the police setup and report at the next meeting
seconded by paulding and carrird by sal call vote . Baker and Spaulding was
appointed as - 'such a` committee . . It was "also voted the the Clerk write to the
motor vehicklhe bureau and learn about tax exemption on gas and oilused by
police .
R . A . MCKinney and Knettlez of the American Legionwere present and gave a
talk on merits of the Legion in aiding disabled world war veterans . Explained
the case of ' John _ Shevalier and stated he had made application for help for him
Don Mason also present and ask that the Town board reccomend the appointmh
of R . A . McKinney and R . B . Guier as special deputies to acE . , if neceessary in .
connection with home defence programe . uch a motion was made by Beck , seconded
by Baker and carried by a roll call vote ,
Charles Woolever was present and reported on his work at the town wood lot
Highway bills read and motion made and seconded to pay as read exe ptthe
Bailgybill for truck insurance , carried by roll call vote .

The Bailey insurance bill read and a motion was made by Baker to appoint.
Beck and Beach as a • committee: to take the matter up with Bailey , a,nd if found
satisfactory , , for Beach to pay sanme , seconded by Cornelius and carried by a it
roll call vote ; .
Upon motiommade and seconded meeting was adjourned,

The town board made its spring road inspection tour , and meet at the of_ftic
of the town clerk ,iwith all justices present , also a5upt-„ and Supvr. .
The Russe11?s were present and presented a petition asking that their_ road
near the eihgt square schoolhouse be improved: this year_ . .
A/ The following roads were designated to be improved this year .
A motion- was - made by Munsey to build the Mott road and 3900 . 00for building the
road and. $ 668,. 75 for oiling - the same , seconded by Spaulding and carried by a rol
\call vote .

C: A motion was made by Cornelius to tar, with primary coat the Snyder iili
road , about 3: 7/I0 miles and to apprppreate $ 989075 for this improvement,,_

Lucre - Richards - road , if money is available , seconded by Cornelius : and carried by
a roll call vote . .
E-: A motioi was made by Spaulding to re - surface the Etna Creek road al -
ready blacked topped and thr road from the trotting park corners': to Race &
corners about 22 miles if the money is available . seconded by Baker and carried
by a roll :. call vote .
A motion was made by Cornelius to repair the Russell and B:one plane roads:
seconded by Baker ! anc carried by a roll.. call vote . .
