TOWN BOARD
SPECIAL EMERGENCY MEETING
May 04, 1990
Members present: Supervisor, Melvin Pierce
Councilman, Raymond Thorpe
Councilman, Theodore Testa
The meeting was called to order by Supervisor Pierce at
11:00 a.m..
WHEREAS, a resolution was adopted at the April 18, 1990 meeting
that the Town Clerk was to continue to receive $1,000.00 from the
Water Fund and $1,000.00 from the Sewer Fund as part of her
salary until December 31, 1990,
WHEREAS, the Town Clerk has submitted written statements
requesting that these monies no longer be included as part of her
salary,
WHEREAS, the Town Clerk has accepted her salary from April 1,
1990 to April 20, 1990,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Clerk 's salary will be
reduced by that portion starting with pay period April 21, 1990
to the end of the year 1990.
Motion by Councilman Raymond Thorpe
Seconded by Councilman Theodore Testa
Votes: All Aye Adopted
WHEREAS, the Town Clerk has submitted written statements
supporting her request to have her salary reduced by the
remainder of the $2,000.00,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that these statements are received
and filed.
Motion by Councilman Theodore Testa
Seconded by Councilman Raymond Thorpe
Votes: All Aye Adopted
WHEREAS, as discussion was held by the Town Board concerning the
need for a larger meeting room,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Supervisor is authorized
to make contacts to design a new meeting room.
Motion by Councilman Raymond Thorpe
Seconded by Theodore Testa
Votes: All Aye Adopted
Councilman Thorpe made a motion, seconded by Councilman
Testa, to adjourn the meeting. All voting aye, the motion was
carried..
The meeting was adjourned at 11:30 a.m...
