Highwaysand welfare officer . The minutes of the last meeting- were read and approved . Fay Knapp was present: and stated the conditions under which the Button family were working and ask the board to aid them and withhold bringing a suit againstithem , for a hospital bill untill e-,: riapp Could pay his obligations , to the Button family . We-lfarto-ffc'err off-erred -to take the matter up with the Buttons , . • Clayton Bowker. • present and as.k to Yrawr -sore- rega-irr -work done on his driveway . The town board meet in a special session , at the office of the town clerk , at a request of a committee of justuces . All justices present , . Supt of Highways and A . J . Fletcher , reporter and editor of the Rival news Supv.: Sweetland presiding . The minutes of the last meeting were read and approved . The clerk was requested to read the ' petition requesting the" meeting after which the chairm man tirrred the meeting over to tht'acommitee . Cornelius explained the reason of the request for a meeting saying that in as much as , there was a piece torn up and incomplete and to discontinue WO ] workit at this time would nessesitate the moving of machinery , which would be costly to the town , he ask if there was not some way to provide funds to finish_. this road this ° fall . A . road was $ 57663 . 10 ' - A motion wasHmade by Munsey , seconded by Cornelius to accept the check of $ 566 . 25 from the Village of Freeville , that amt being their share of coat , of Lino-Lane road . Roll call vote all yes . A "motion was made by Baker seconded by Cornelius , for Supt . to get an estimate of 'costs of a trailer and report same soon . Caeeied by roll call vc vote , all yes but Beck who was absent at the time . It was agreed that road building was , to continue on German road untill next regular meeting . A mojtion was , ade by Cornelius , seconded by S .pauldingfor the Supvi. to use his onn judgement as to khat fund to deposit the check of $ 566 . 25 Carried by r011 call' vote , all= yes but Beck who 4PWR was absent at this tin Upon ade and seconded meeting was adjourned at I2 Midnight .
