Sweetland presiding . . Welfare bills and statement read as follows ; Food # 71 , 62 . Rent - 27 . 50 Fuel - - - 6 . 75 .: Medical 31 , 00 Total 4 136 . 87 40% State aid .. 54 . 75 Total cost to town # 82 . 12 All monthly bills read And motion made byBeck , seconded by Baker to pay as read and carried by roll call vote all yes . A . J . Hines School attendance officer ., appeared before the board and stated that unless some provision were made in regards to. . s.ome welfare familys who had children of school age being provided with shoes and clothing suitable to attend school the state aid would be withheld and read the law covering these cases . Letters from various towns . relating to wages paid voting machines cus - todians were read , and a discussion followed an average taken with the result that a motion was made by Cornelius , seconded by Beck , to pay each custodian # 35 , 00 per year . that amtto cover all regular duties connected with voting m machines , but in case of a recount they shall recieve one days pay per rata , Carried by roll call vote all yes . A motion was madie- by Cornelius to nominat Roy Hungerford as custidian , and Sweetland no minated Howard Welch as Democr at, custodian , carried by roll call vote all yes , . Supt , of Highways Beach ask if there awas any objection to having the Town storage building wired for electric lights , Motion was made , by Spauldinv to impower Supt . to install electric lights in the town storage_: building seconded by Beck and carried by roll call vote all yes . MT . MUnsey - stated that he had recieved c:omblaints about the bridge near R . D . Simons farm; a motion was made by Spaulding; to close the road where the bridge . in question is located untill the bridge could be repaired or rebuilt seconded by Bieck and carried by roll call vote all yes . Motion wanade by Beck for welfare officer to purchase two cook stoves for welfare familys seconded by '' ornelius and Carried by rollcall vote. Motion madeby Spaulding to transfer $ 300 . 00 to welfare fUn:d and 700 . 00 to Hughway Item 3 from beverage tax . Married by roll call vote all yes .
