The . toWn board meet at the office of the . town clerk for regular
monthly meeti mg , all justices welfare officer Supt of highways present .
upvT Sweetland presiding . The minutes of last two meetings were read and
. approved' .
The matter of issueing certificates of indebtedness for the peg'
payment - gislas4m4Onfin4 of the power mower was discussed , and a motion was nade
by Spaulding , - seconded by • Cornelius to pay # 215 . 00 from Item: 3 of the highway
fund and to issue certificates of indebtdness for the remaining # 600 . 00 , there
to be two of $ 30O . Q0 each to be taken by Bruce Stevens at . O5%., the first one
to become due March 15 1941 and the second one due March 151942 . Roll call

A motion: was made by Baker Authorizing the Supv . and Clerk• to
issue certificates of indebtedness , seconded by Munsey „ roll call vote all yes .
A letter was read from Harold Mc - Watters asking the board for
a reecomendation• for appointment as special Deputy Sherriff . Mr Mc Watters was
present , and after dissussing the matter it was desided he should take the
matter of qualifications such as height weight & etc . with the Sherrill after
which the board would consider the reccomendation .

Freevi ' e Village approbation for W . P . A . funds and the town to oil the Lina
