The : minutesTof the last meeting read - and were approved . • Truman- Collins present concerning the renting of his house to David Lewi4 Stated that in asmuch as he had rented the house to the town , through the Supw and justice Acherman , and the Dave Lewis family had been moved in without his knowledge , and that the barn and some contents had been damaged and removed he was asking the town be responsiable for from 475 . 00 to $ 100 . 00 damage and. also , . notified the town that they must move the Lewis familywithin two Weeks . All justices Supt Beach , several tax payers and agents for Allis Chalmars . International Harvester co . and Syracuse ""'upply CQ . were present , Sup Sweetland presiding . After reading the petition requesting the special meeting , . the Supv • turned the meeting over to the justices who requesting it . Mr Spaulding o objected to the petition stating he had notpetition as read , in as much as a clause had been inserted , regarding the Supv not recieving any compensation for . the meeting . the agent stated he had made the insertion at the request of Sweeti land . d The purpose of the meeting was explained that in as much as the condition ) of the town catterpiller tractor had been discussed at the last board meeting. , some of the justices had investigated the condition and cost of overhauling and repairing same , and thought it advisable to call a meeting where all the justices , the supp` and. supv . could discuss together with the agent the expens of repairing the old tractor or the economy of buying new equipement . The agent for Syracuse supply co . quoted the ost of overhauling and re - pairing the old tractor as 900 , 00 to - put it in goo4, working order .
