Additional Staff Present: Jane Nicholson Absent: Peter D. • Agenda: 1. Agenda - Additions, deletions, adjustments. 2. EMC Update. 3. Old Business CB Bylaws Aquifer protection Plan Open Space Plan - focusing on Goals and Objectives, and moving on to Inventory 4. Town Board Update -This is an opportunity for the Town Board liaison and/or the Town Supervisor or other Town Board members to address the Conservation Board, 5. New Business: none noted Call to order: Nancy Munkenbeck, 7:40 -- Additions, deletions, adjustments — Agriculture Inventory Update Craig -- update from Katie, intern on the agricultural report; she's doing a review of AEM Tier 1 and Tier 2, focusing closely on Dryden - specific questions (similar to Ithaca Plan); review of the questionnaire and process Milo —have to ensure that we're not there to increase their taxes; Craig— ensured that this would be totally anonymous and compiled anonymously I Nancy —how to identify a farm that has no name /address? - -No Town Supervisor Update —EMC Update (Environmental Management Council- Tompkins County) p - -Nancy to send; Ithaca College Sustainability Plan K ® —CB Bylaws K - -Still in progress; Adjunct Position —to be more officially notified - -Ag advisory board? -- Aquifer Protection Plan - -Check with Dan about current plan - -Open Space Plan - -Open Space Inventory -- relate to comp. plan; guide future through recommendations -- should take into account the consensus on some aspects -- question of purpose, guiding part of the plan; use this for the website —State of NY Open Space Inventory—why did they do that? Plan for land acquisition /use of the information - step -down process, town's have version of that -- establish zoning law that we can move forward with -- outdoor recreation as a subcomponent, versus in the title "Open Space and Recreation Plan" -- guiding future development to protect open space -- instead of systems, rather than OS &P, development systems approach title that CB derives from which things would be included into this systems development approach -- systematic approach be included in Comp Plan update - -OSP that could help inform the Cornp Plan system - -Sce Hammond Hill or Twin Sheds State Forest Plan • — Threc Plans —Draft Open Space, Drab Conservation, Draft Nawral Recreation Nancy: Meeting Adjourned at 8:45PM
