SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING
4:00 P.M.
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville was held at 4:00 p.m. at the Town Hall,
3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York with Supervisor,
Raymond Thorpe presiding.
Members present: Supervisor, Raymond Thorpe
Councilman, Theodore Testa
Councilman, Edwin O'Donnell
• Councilman, Ronal Rocco
Councilman, John Pilato
Deputy Town Clerk, Patricia O'Mara
Others present were: Town Attorney, John Folmer,
Town Engineer, Hayne Smith; Highway Superintendent, Carl
Bush.
There was some discussion regarding the bids. The
Town Engineer expressed concern about the low bid.
RESOLUTION #114 AWARD BID FOR NYS ROUTE 13-SCM,
TOMPKINS STREET, PLEASANTVIEW STREET
ROUTE 215 WATER TANK CONNECTION
PROJECT TO BAT -CON, INC. IN THE
AMOUNT OF $536,527.00
Motion by Councilman O'Donnell
Seconded by Councilman Pilato
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
WHEREAS, bids were advertised for the NYS Route 13-SCM,
Tompkins Street, Pleasantview Street, Route 215 Water
Tank Connection Project, and
WHEREAS, sealed bids were opened on May 21, 1996 at 1:00
p.m. and provided to Town Engineer, Hayne Smith, for
review, and recommendation, as follows:

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the bid is hereby
awarded to the low bidder, Bat Con, Inc., 4277 State
Hill Road, Marcellus, NY, for the NYS Route 13-SCM,
Tompkins St., Pleasantview St., Route 215 Water Tank
Connection Project.
Councilman Testa made a motion, seconded by
Councilman O'Donnell, to adjourn the Special Meeting.
All voting aye, the motion was carried.
The Special Meeting was closed at 5:00 p.m.
