SAYRE, PART TIME DEPUTY TOWN CLERK Motion by Councilman Rocco Seconded by Councilman O'Donnell VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED, that Resolution #115, adopted on July 7, 1993 is hereby amended to establish salary for Mary H. Sayre, part time Deputy Town Clerk, at $6.62 per hour. RESOLUTION #161 ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIVING "NOTICE OF CLAIM`° OF KATHLEEN TRUAX, PARENT OF JEFFREY A TRUAX - CAR ACCIDENT Motion by Councilman O'Donnell Seconded by Councilman VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby acknowledge receiving the "Notice of Claim" from Kathleen Truax, parent of Jeffrey A. Truax, who was involved in an automobile accident on the Kellogg Road on June 25, 1993. Councilman Rocco made a motion, seconded by Councilman O'Donnell, to receive and file a letter from Mohawk Valley Oil, Cortland Division, RD# 1, Cortland, NY. All voting aye, the motion was carried. The letter advised our their intent to renew their liquor license at their Polkville location. Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Councilman Pilato, to receive and file a letter from Earl and Betty Wild, owners of the Golden Lunch restaurant in the Town of Cortlandville. All voting aye, the motion was carried. The letter advised of their intent to renew their liquor license at their business, located at 3590 Wiest Road. Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Councilman Rocco, to receive and file a letter from Hristos Karakatsanidis. All voting aye, the motion was carried. The letter advised that he has applied for a Wine & Beer license for the Surburban Skyliner Diner located at 3751 Route 11 in Polkville. Councilman O'Donnell made a motion, seconded by Councilman Rocco, to receive and file from William Baker. All voting aye, the motion was carried. RESOLUTION #166 DIRECT SUPERVISOR TO WRITE LETTER TO CORTLAND COUNTY BOARD OF HEALTH IN REGARDS TO PART 21 OF THE SANITARY CODE Motion by Councilman Rocco Seconded by Councilman O'Donnell VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED WHEREAS, Town Code Enforcement Officer, Bruce Weber, apprised the Town Board that the Cortland Countv Board of Health is considering suspending enforcement of part 21 of the Sanitary Code which covers housing standards, and WHEREAS, if the County were to no longer enforce this section of the Sanitary Code, it would put an added burden on the Town, and enforcement of, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, the Supervisor is directed to write a letter to Dr. Poskanser, of the Cortland County Board of Health to indicate the 'Towns desire to see the County Heath Department continue enforcing part 21 of the Sanitary Code. RESOLUTION #167 REFER AQUIFER PERMIT OF MOHAWK VALLEY OIL, INC. TO TOWN AND COUNTY PLANNING BOARDS AND SET DATE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING Motion by Councilman O'Donnell Seconded by Councilman Pilato VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED, the Aquifer Permit of Mohawk Valley Oil; Inc., Route 11 & 41 Cortlandville, to install an above ground 10,000 gallon, low sulfur diesel tank into existing storage and containment area, shall be referred SEPTEMBER 15, 1991 TOWN BOARD PAGE 5 to the Town and County Planning Board, for their review and recommendations, and RESOLVED, that a Public Hearing shall be held o,.n November 3, 1993 at 7:30 p.m. RESOLUTION 7t168 AUTHORIZE BUDGET TRANSFER FOR CAPITAL PROjECTS Motion by Councilman O'Donnell Seconded by Councilman Rocco VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE 1T RESOLVED, the Budget officer is hereby authorized and directel to tran5fer $245.00 from the Sewer fan surplus, into the Mid -town Sewer Capital Project Fund. Supervisor Thorpe apprised the Town Board about concerns of Dossible stormwater runoff in the area of Fairview Drive. A new proposed subdivision known as Mayberry Subdivision has been submitted for that area. This could compound the problem. Copies of letters were distributed to Town Board menters to feview. A discussion was also held concerning whether the developer of the proposed Mayberry subdivision will be installing sewer systems. information lines or allowed individual septic was distributed concerning this, for review. A planned discussion will he held at the next, meeting concerning both situations. No action was taken. Supervisor Thorpe stated that in the past we 06 not have the vital necessity to question what might happen. Today we are experiencing what happens and forces us to reconsider our procedures.
