PUBLIC HEARING
WENDCUSE AQUIFER PERMIT
A Public Hearing of the Town
Cortlandville was reconvened at
Terrace Road, Cortland, New York,
5:00 p.m. for the Aquifer Permit
Corp.

Others present were: Vice President of Wendcuse
Corporation, Jeff Coghlan; Developer, David Yaman; and
Newsreporter, John Blackwell.
The Public Hearing was called to order by
Supervisor, Raymond Thorpe at 5:00 p.m. A Public
Hearing was held on July 1, 1992 and recessed at that
time because the County Planning Board had not taken
action yet.
Supervisor Thorpe explained that the Town and
County Planning Boards had approved the Aquifer Permit
for Wendcuse for the construction of Wendy's Restaurant
which will be located on Rt. 13 at the entrance way of
WalMart, near Cortlandville Crossing.
Supervisor Thorpe requested more information
regarding the final design of the traffic pattern. Mr.
David Yaman showed the Councilman the map that the
Regional Department of Transportation has approved.
This plan is designed to allow only traffic going North
to proceed with traffic flow.
The final approval is needed from the NYS Dept. of
Transportation in Syracuse.
Supervisor Thorpe
reported
that the SEQRA process
has been done.
No other comments
or questions
were heard.
Councilman Rocco
made a
motion, seconded by
Councilman Testa to
close the
Public Hearing at 5:15
p.m. All voting aye,
the motion
was carried.

SPECIAL MEETING
WENDCUSE AQUIFER PERMIT
A Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of
Cortlandville was held at the Town Hall, 15 Terrace
Road, Cortland, New York, on July 22, 1992 at 5:00 p.m.
following the conclusion of the Public Hearing
concerning the Aquifer Permit for Wencuse Inc.
Supervisor, Raymond Thorpe was presiding.
Members present: Supervisor, Raymond Thorpe
Councilman, Theodore Testa
Councilman, Donald Beard
Councilman, Ronal Rocco
Deputy Town Clerk, Patricia O'Mara
Absent: Councilman, Edwin O'Donnell
Town Clerk, Pauline Parker
Other present were: Vice President of Wendcuse
Corporation, Jeff Coghlan; Developer, David Yaman;
Newsreporter, Jon Blackwell.
RESOLUTION #149 APPROVE WENDCUSE AQUIFER PERMIT
Motion by Councilman Rocco
Seconded by Councilman Beard
VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED
WHEREAS, 'there was a Public Hearing held at the Town
Hall, 15 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York, at 5:00 P.M.
on July 22, 1992, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, that the Town Board does hereby approve
the Aquifer Permit application of Wenduse Corp. to build
a Wendy's on Rt. 13, in front of Walmart.
Councilman Rocco made a motion, seconded by
Councilman Beard, to adjourn the special meeting. All
voting aye, the motion was carried.
The regular meeting was adjourned at 5:17 p.m.
