HomeMy WebLinkAbout12-28-2011DECEMBER 28, 2011 9:00 A.M. SPECIAL TOWN BOARD MEETING 3(7 1 1 1 The Special Meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Cortlandville was held at the Raymond G. Thorpe Municipal Building, 3577 Terrace Road, Cortland, New York, with Supervisor Tupper presiding. Members present: Supervisor, Richard C. Tupper Councilman, Theodore V. Testa Councilman, Gregory K. Leach Councilman, John C. Proud Town Clerk, Karen Q. Snyder, RMC Absent: Others present were: None. Councilman, Ronal L. Rocco Supervisor Tupper called the Special Meeting to order. Supervisor Tupper apprised the Board that a purchase order was submitted by Highway Sup't. Bush to be paid to National Grid for work to be done at the Cortlandville Highway Garage. Highway Sup't. Bush applied for and received a grant from National Grid to replace all of the light fixtures at the Highway Garage with energy efficient units. The total cost of the project was $13,000.00, however the Town was only responsible to pay $4,342.49 due to receipt of the grant. Supervisor Tupper explained that the Town could either pay the total amount due or pay the total over a two-year period. The Board opted to pay the total amount due. RESOLUTION #208 AUTHORIZE SUPERVISOR TO SIGN PURCHASE ORDER #1152 Motion by Councilman Leach Seconded by Councilman Proud VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED, the Town Board does hereby authorize and direct the Supervisor to sign Purchase Order 41152 submitted by Highway Sup't. Bush to pay for the Town's share of work to be completed at the Cortlandville Highway Garage by National Grid for the total cost of $4,342.49. RESOLUTION 4209 AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF VOUCHERS — FINAL 2011 Motion by Councilman Proud Seconded by Councilman Leach VOTES: ALL AYE ADOPTED BE IT RESOLVED, the vouchers submitted have been audited and shall be paid as follows: General Fund A Vouchers #705 - 709 $ 5,359.15 General Fund B B 175 - B 175 $ 39.99 Highway Fund DB D532 - D535 $ 760.12 Water Fund W300 - W300 $ 27.51 Sewer Fund 5175 - 5176 $ 353.21 No further comments or discussion were heard. Councilman Testa made a motion, seconded by Councilman Proud, to adjourn the Special Meeting. All voting aye, the motion was carried.
