Jennifer handed out her monthly
U M/03) report and reported on events that have happened and future items.

Wall Street Ball Field: Jennifer has left messages for John Bradley of the Village of Dryden to call her back.

Jen has made a request to the Village of Dryden to flood the tennis courts for ice skating.

Sub Committee: needs to be forrned to work on fundraising.

Jen reported that the volunteer web site page is not done yet.

Ann Grant suggested at future fun Seasonal fundraiser: House Decorating with 3 or so categories, perhaps a registration fee & register
through the Library or "Town Hall so the judges know residents that want to participate. Advertise on tie fire station bulletin hoard. etc.
Coordinate by September /October for 2004. 'Town -wide event — need judges and breakdown by geographic. areas — prizes, Rec. Coord, to
mark in calendar for review and planning of this potential event by the summer.

DRC Rep. At Town Board meetings — at the suggestion of Steve, begin the rotation in February, 2004.

Mission/G(mis — OK — finalized 10/2003. Lisa already gave to Town Clerk — Jen can put on Town's websitc.

Ann suggested horse sleigh rides for caroling. Jen said it would he a liability issue — but could he investigated for the future.

2004
membership: Jen's request is for a member who will be active and involved. Ann said she will
continue and will
submit her letter of
intent to the Town Board, Still need to hear from Jeff — Lisa to contact Jeff by email again. If Jeff still doesn't respond, we will assume he
is not interested in rcuping for another 3-year term. Steve would prefer bringing 2004 names for approval to January Town Board meeting.
Currently one vacancy (Wilkins slot) - will be 2 vacancies if Jeff declines or doesn't respond. Currently two letters of interest to serve on
the DRC have been received without any formal advertising, Also need the school athletic director, (which is a permanent DRC member),
or an alternate to attend tie DRC monthly meetings regularly.

2004 DRC Chair & Vice Chair — will take norrunations and vote in January

Space for Rec Dept. office(s) when school district offices move to high school. Steve plans to bring this topic to the Town Board in Jan.

Short /Lone Term Annual Goals -2004: Matty volunteered to start working on these — making them quantitative — Jcn will give; her the
2004 budget. Jen R Malty will work together on a draft document. Goal: report at Feb. Town Board meeting,

Dryden Hall of Fame — Steve mentioned this event. It was wrmderful, however support by school staff was disappointing as very few
staff attended.

Dryden Youth Commission Meetings: lvfatty, Lisa, Jen, & Steve reported on thejoint meeting that was held 10/30/03. Bill & Russ also
attended this meeting. DYC's focus is at -risk middle school age children while the DRC's focus is all residents Towm -wide. An
investigation of this and other "old, always been done this way" Town practices is requested to be done, (by whom'?), to work on
streamlining duties and efficiency utilizing the "new" recreation dept..

Fundroising/Gront Writing position — Suggested the Town create or contract for this position. 'this discussion needs to be brought to
the Town.

DRC Meeting
Guests: Would like guests at each monthly meeting. Suggestion to start January meeting with Steve Trumbull, the new
Town Supervisor as the guest.

Special Meeting: Monday 1/26/2004, 6 :30pm, Rec. Dept. office — guest Steve Trumbull (Steve needs to tie invited — get his email address
from Town Clerk ? ?)
County Recreation Partnership: Jen reported that the Town Hoard needs to appoint an annual rep. and asked if anyone from the DRC
membership would be interested in serving on this Town/Couniy committee. They meet 3rd "Tuesdays, 4:15 -6pm in Ithaca. Interested
