SUBJECT: UPCOMING CONSERVATION BOARD MEETING – JANUARY 16, 2014
This is to confirm that the next meeting of the Conservation Board (CB) is Thursday,
January 16th at 5:30 p.m. (PLEASE REMEMBER NEW MEETING TIME). The agenda
for this meeting is enclosed (see the back of this memo). The draft minutes from the
December 5, 2013 meeting are attached.
At this meeting we will take some time to discuss the work priorities and various committee
assignments for 2014. Included in the meeting materials is the draft “Conservation Board
2014 Work Goals” which I have started to updated (track changes inserted). The CB will
need to review and discuss what additional changes are necessary for 2014. I have also
attached the draft “Conservation Board Committees 2014” list, which I have also started to
update. Please review this list and be thinking what other changes you would like to see
for 2014.
We will also continue the discussions of deer management efforts in the area and on the
pest management policy research (examples of pest management policies from other
communities and costs involved) that was requested by the Town’s Public Works
Committee.
We will need someone to volunteer to take minutes at the January meeting, and I will bring
a new sign-up sheet for the rest of 2014.
