Following the meeting, the Conservation Board invites the public to join them at 6:00 pm for a hands-on

relationship with the Town’s overly abundant deer population. Strategies for controlling local invasive
species such as Japanese barberry, multiflora rose, oriental bittersweet, garlic mustard, honeysuckle, privet
and buckthorn will be demonstrated. Tools will be provided and attendees will have the opportunity to apply
removal methods while helping improve a Town park. Bring gardening gloves, pruners, and insect repellent.
