Memorial Tree and Bench Policy
The Town Board has adopted a Memorial Parks Bench & Tree policy. The purpose was to establish
procedures and guidelines for people wishing to donate a bench or a tree in memory of a loved one, or
just because. Donations are encouraged on our Parks and Preserves throughout the Town and may be
accompanied by a plaque (bench) or tag (tree) is you wish.
For more information and a request form, please reach out to Joe Talbut, Parks Maintenance Manager at
jtalbut@town.ithaca.ny.us or check our website.
Take 10!
For a better community
Tompkins County Health Department is asking for 10 minutes of your time to complete a survey that is
critical to informing them of what you think are areas needing improvement in the services and physical
and mental health of our community. All residents 18 and older are strongly encouraged to take the
TCHDSurvey2022 or you can call 2-1-1 and take the survey by phone.
