WHEREAS a map,'plan and report relating to the establis
} went of the proposed Slaterville Road Area sewer District, prepar-
ed by competent engineers, duly licensed by the state of New York
was duly presented to and filed with the Town Board and an Order
was duly adopted by the Town Board on the 21st day of February,

1966 for the hearing of all 'persons interested in the Ratter on
the 7th day of March, 1966 at 400 o'clock P.M. on that day at
i
the Town Offices in the City of Ithaca, Tompkins County, New
York, and a hearing by the said Board having been duly held at
such time and place and it having been duly resolved and
determined, on the 7th day of March, 1966, following such hearing
i
that the Notice of Nearing was published and posted as required b
law rnn was otherwise sufficient and that all the property and pr p-

arty owners withi:i tho proposed district were benefited thereby,
and that all of the property and property ownars benefited are
included within the limits of the district and that the establish
meat of such district was in the public interest and it having
been further resolved and determined that the establishment of a
sewer district, as set forth in the aforesaid map, plan and
report be approved, and that the improvement therein mentioned
be constructed, and the boundaries of the district having been
then and there finally determined and set forth and described in

Resolution was subject to a permissive referendum as provided
in Section 209-e of the Town Law, and
A Petition having been presented and filed with the
Town Clerk of the Town of Ithaca, pursuant to Article 9 and 12-A
of the Town Law, requesting a referendum on the adoption of the
aforesaid Resolution, and the Town Board having duly adopted a
Resolution on the llth day of April, 1966, designating too
hours and place of holding the election and setting forth in
full the proposition to be voted upon, and the Town Clerk having
duly posted notice of such -special election and caused such notic
to be published on the 21st day of April, 1966, and the propos•iti
having been buba►i.tted to the qualified voters in the said distric
and the referendum held, at the special election held on the »th
day of May, 1964, and the proposition having "on approved by the
affirmative vote of a majority of the owners of taxabie real prop
situate in the ;proposed district and shown upon the latest comple
assessment roll of the Town voting on such proposition, and
Application having been thereafter and on the Sith day
of Hay, 19666 duly made in duplicate to the State Department of
Audit and Control at Albany, Now York, for permission to create
such district as more fully provided for by Article 12-A of the
Town Law, and the State Comptroller having duly made an order
in duplicate dated July 60 1966 granting permission for the
creation of the districts and ore copy of such order having been
duly filed in the Office of the State Department of Audit and
Control at Albany, How York, and' the other in the office of the
Town Clerk of this Town on the 12th day of July, 1966, and
The Town Clark having filed his certificate with the
County Clark of the County of Tompkins and the Offioi of the
Department of Audit and Control at Albany, New York, stating that

Law and certifying the result of the vote on the proposition
