Article 12-A of the Town Law.
WHEREAS a map, plan and report relating to the establish•
ment of the proposed Ellis hollow Road Sewer District, prepared
by competent engineers, duly licensed by,the State of New York,
was duly presented to and filed with the Town Board and an Order
.was duly adopted by the Town Board on the 8th day of January,
1965 for the hearing of all persons interested in the matter on
the 15th day of February, 1965, at 400 o'clock P.N. on that day
at the City Council Room of the City Hall in the City of Ithaca,
Tompkins County, New York, and a hearing by the said Board hav-
in,B bean duly held at such time and place and it having been
duly resolved and determined, on the 15th day of February, 1966,
following such hearing that the Notice of hearing was published
and posted as required by law and was otherwise sufficient and
that all the property And property owners within the proposed
district were benefited thoreby, and that all of the property and
property owners benefited are included within the limits of the
district and that the establishment of such district was in the
public interest and it having been further resolved and deterv-
ined that the establishment of a'sewer district, as set forth

in the aforesaid maps plan and report be approveds and that the
improvement therein mentioned be constructeds and the boundaries
of the district having been then and there finally determined
and set forth and described in the said Resolutions and it hav-
ifig been further resolved that said Resolution was subject to
a permissive referendum as provided in Section 209•e of the
Town Laws and application having been thereafter and on the 17th
day of Februarys 1965s duly made in duplicate to the State
Department of Audit and Control at Albany$ Now Yorks for per-
mission to create such district as more fully provided for by
Article 12-A of the Town Laws and the State Comptroller having
duly made an order.in duplicate dated April 9s 1266s granting
permission for the creation of the district; and one dopy of
such order havinc been duly filed in the office of the State
Department of Audit and Control at Albany* New Yorks and the
other in the office of the Town Clerk of this Towns and the Town
Clerk having duly presented such order to this Board at its
first meeting held after the said order was filed with himv and
it further appearing that within ten days after the adoption by
the Town Hoard of the aforesaid Resolution the Town Clerk caused
a Notice of said Resolution to be posted and published in the
manner provided for by Section 90 of the Town Law which Notice
contained the date of the adoption of the Resolutions and a
COPY of such Resolutions and which Notice specified that such
Resolution was adopted subject to a permissive referendums and
it further appearing, that more than thirty days have expired
since the adoption of the aforesaid Revolutions and that no
petition subscribed and acknowledged by any person or persons
qualified to vote upon the proposition has been filed with the
Town Clerk and the Town Clark having filed a certificate sti►ting
such fact in the,Offids of the Tompkins County Clark and in the

Office of the Department of Audit and Control at Albany, New
York, it is hereby
ORDERED, that a sewer district be established in the said
Town of Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, as described in the
order of the State Comptroller aforesaid, to be designated as the
Ellis iiollow Road Sewer District of the Town of Ithaca, Tompkins
County, New York, and it is further
ORDERED, that the maximum amount proposed to be expended
for the said improvement and for the acquisition of the neces-
sary lands and easements is Ninety Thousand DbUars ($900000.00),
and it is'
further
ORDERED, that the said district be of the following des-
cription and bounderiesw to wits
ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL Or LAND situate, lying and being
in the Town of Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York, more partiou-
laxly bounded and described as follower
Beginning at a point, said point being the intersection
of the centerline of Mitchell Street and the east corporation
line of the City of Ithaca;
(1) thence, northerly along the east corporation line of
the City of Ithaca a distance of 14S feet, more or less, to a
point lying in the westerly extension of the north boundary of
parcel 59-1-3;
(2) thence, easterly along aforesaid extension and the
north boundary of parcel 59-1-3 and paresl 59-1-2 a distance of
329 feet, morn or less, to -the northeast corner of parcel 59-1-9;
(3) thence, southerly along the east boundary of parcel
59-1-2 a distance of 138.feet, more or less, to the north right-
of-way line of Ellis Hollow Road;
(4) thence, easterly along the north right-of-way line of
Ellis Hollow Road. a distance of 1,429 feet, more or less, to the

southwest corner of parcel 62-1-1;
(5) thence, northerly along the west boundary of parcel
62-1-1 a distance of 426 feet, more or less$ to the northwest
corner of parcel 62-1-1;
(6) thence, easterly along the north boundary of parcel
62-1-1 and parcel 62-1-3 a distance of $66 feet, more or less,
to the center line of Judd Falls Road;
(7) thence, northerly along the center line of Judd Falls
Road a distance of 460 feet, more or less, to a point being the
center line intersection with Maple Avenue;
(8) thence, easterly along a line parallel to the south
boundary of parcel 63-1-3 a distance of 1,590 feet, more or lesso
to a point lying in the east boundary of parcel 63-1-3;
(8a) thence, southerly along the east boundary of parcel
63-1-3 a distance of 470 feet, more or less, to the southeast
corner of parcel 63-1-3;
(8b) thence, easterly along the north boundary of parcel
62-2-1 a distance of 2S9 feet, more or less, to the northeast
corner of parcel 62-2-1;
(9) thence, southerly.alonA the east boundary of parcel
62-2-1 and parcel 61-1-2 a distance of 1,473 feet, more or less,
to a point being 150 feet southerly of and measured at right
angles to the center line of E113s Hollow Road;
(10) thence, westerly along a line parallel to, 160 feet
south of and measured at right angles to the center line of Ellis
Hollow Road a distance of 1,920 feet, more or less, to a point
lying in the south boundary of parcel 60-1-6;
(11) thence, westerly along the south boundary of parcel
60-1-6 a distance of 490 feet, more or lees, to the southwest
corner of parcel 60-1-6;
(12) thence, northerly along the west boundary of parcel'

59-2-1 8 and parcel 59-2-19 a distance of 267 feet, more or less,
to the southeast corner of parcel 59-2-19;

59-2-19 and westerly extension thereof a distance of 657 feet,
more or less, to a point lying in the east corporation line of
the City of.IthacA;

All as shown on a map of the proposed Ellis Hollow Road
Sewer District as prepared by hosier Engineers, Inc. dated
October 29 1964, and revised October 13, 1964, drawing number
12763; and said parcel numbers referring to Tax Map, Town of
Ithaca, Tompkins County, approved by 9tati Board of Equalisation
and Assessment, March 279 1964, tax maps dated 11/l/63..
