In response to your Letter to the dated May 1,1997. enclosed is a copy of the Town of Ithaca Zoning:
Ordinance dated 1954. Please note pages 4 and 5 refer to residential districts and yard setbacks.
The side yard setback is noted as being "not less then 10 feet in width." If the property at 139 Ridgec.
Road has at least a 10 foot side yard, then it would appear to be legally nonconfornting. I have not. however.
seen a survey map of the property.
This Letter should not be construed to indicate that this office is certil�ing the property in any way. We
would, at your request, issue a "Certificate of Occupancy" upon payment of a $50 fee, a full site inspection. and
a Town Hall record search.
The cost for the enclosed 13 page copy is $2.30. Pkase remit a check, payable to the Town of Ithaca, to the
attention of the Deputy Town Clerk. Should you have any questions, please feel free to call me.
