RE: Sewer Main Easements at 138 E. King Road, Tax Prc. 43-1-3.33
Dear Mr. Miller:
I have researched the status of the sanitary sewer main and
easement for Town of Ithaca Tax Parcel 43-1-3.33, located at 138 E.
King Road. This sewer was constructed in several stages by the
develover of the Oak Ridge Subdivision also know as the Ithaca
Estates Subdivision Phase I. By a Sanitary Sewer Right of Way dated
January 22, 1980 and signed by Herbert Mor,kemeyer, sower "A" on the
south side of E. King Road, and sewer "B", a proposed sewer to be
cor.rtructcd on the north side of E. King Road, have been granted and
conveyed to the Town of Ithaca, along with an access easement 10 feet
on each side of the sewer lines.
The Town of Ithaca has accepted ownership and maintenance
responsibility for both sewer "A" and "B" by actively allowing
connections and maintaining the lines.
The Town of Ithaca is in the process of, and will pursue,
obtaining formal easements for the portions of the sewer main that
are outside of the Highway R.O.W.
I have enclosed a copy of the 1980 R.O.W. agreement and portions
of the sewer maps to clarify the sewer locations.
