Dear Mr. Tyler:
To update the status of improvements as covered in my letter
of August 16, 1979 to Mr. Willis Hilker, recorded in the Tompkins
County Clerk's office in 24 Miscellaneous Records at Page 13 on
August 31, 1979, please consider the following progress toward re-
solution of outstanding items.
In the course of completing the remainder of Northview Road
West to Town Highway Specifications, the sewer main, watermain,
highway repair, construction, and inspection, deed and drainage
relating to highway quality have all reached a standard and condi-
tion -whereby all these items are considered complete and recom-
mended for acceptance to the Town Board.
It seems at this juncture that the drainage pattern and
individual lot surveys can most efficiently be effected at the
time a lot is developed. It seems reasonable for the Town to re-
quire property pin placement prior to issuance of building permits
and to approve individual lot grading as a condition to issuing a
certificate of compliance. Although not a requirement, independent
verification of subdivision map metes and bounds data would be a
wise practice where some time has lapsed since the original survey.
Please inform all buyers of this update and call 273-1747 for
ny clarification you require. You may consider that this letter
dompletely supersedes my letter of February 11, 1985.
