SCHEDULE A
ALL THAT TRACT OR PARCEL OF LAND situate in the
City of Ithaca, County of Tompkins and State of New York,
being the parcels of land shown on the survey map made by.
Carl Crandall, C.E. dated November 6, 1953, entitled "Map of
Town of Ithaca Highway Shop Property on Elmira Road in Town
of Ithaca, N.Y." a copy of which is filed in the Tompkins
County Clerk's Office concurrently herewith, and more particu-
larly bounded and described with reference to the said map as
follows%
BEGINNING at a point opposite a cross cut in the
culvert head wall at the northeast corner of "Lot 29 -.Ryerson"
in the line of the Van'Order lots which fronts on -Spencer
Road;
1. RUNNING THENCE EASTERLY along said Van Order
lot line along Spencer Road a distance of 57 feet
to an old pipe;
2. RUNNING THENCE NORTHWESTERLY a distance of 151
feet along lands of "Carl and Elsie Root" to an
old pipe at a wall corner;
3. RUNNING THENCE EASTERLY a distance of 100 feet
along said Root lands to an old pipe at a wall
corner;
4. RUNNING THENCE EASTERLY, deflecting slightly to
the right,'a distance of 50 foot along said Root
lands to an iron pipe and continuing in tho same
direction a distance of 50 feet along lands of
"James E. Grooms" to an iron pipo;
5. RUNNING THENCE NORTHWESTERLY along the wester-
ly line of the former John L. Post Estate Property
(Lot 23) a distance of 150 feet to an old pipe;
6. RUNNING THENCE WESTERLY along a boundary of.the
former John L. Post Estate Property a distance of
50 feet to an old pipe;
7. RUNNING THENCE NORTHWESTERLY a distance of 110.3
feet along said John L. Post Estate Property to an
iron pipe in the southerly line of the State
highway;
8. RUNNING THENCE SOUTHWESTERLY along the souther-
ly line of the State highway a distance of 247.3
feet to an old pipe located 3 feet westerly from a
concrete monument in said highway line;
9. RUNNING THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY a distance of
112 feet along a line identified as a "fence" on
said map to an old pipe;
10. RUNNING THENCE SOUTHEASTERLY along "Lot 29
Ryerson" a distance of 300 feet to the point of
beginning.
TOGETHER WITH all rights (if any) of the seller
in and to:
1. Any strips or'gores of land between the above
described premises and lands belonging to adjoining
owne r s , and
2. The bed of adjacent highways up to the center
lines thereof.

This conveyance is made by the Town of Ithaca
pursuant to resolution of the Town Board of the Town of
Ithaca adopted on the May 17, 1976 adjourned meeting.
Notice of this resolution as being subject to a permissive
referendum was duly published in the Ithaca Journal on
May 21, 1976 and a copy of such resolution was duly posted.
No request or petition for a referendum upon the aa•id
resolution has been presented tc or filed with the seller.
The buyer is the highest bidder for the property at a duly
advertised public auction.
Reference is also hereby made to a map entitled
"Location Survey of Town of Ithaca Barns on Elmira Road,
City of Ithaca, Tompkins County, New York" dated May 5,
1977 and drawn by Howard R. Schlieder (#043780), which map
was revised May 19, 1977 and is recorded concurrently here-
with.
SUBJECT TO the following, insofar as the same may
affect the premises;
a. A pole line easement granted to New York State
Electric and Gas by instrument dated June 4, 1955
and recorded in the Tompkins County Clerk's Office
on August 12. 1955 in Liber 380 of Deeds at page
384.
b. A gas line easement granted to New York State
Electric and Gas by instrument dated July 9, 1956
and recorded in the Tompkins County Clerk's Office
on October 30, 1956 in Liber 392 of Deeds at page
472.
c. A sewer right of way granted to City of Ithaca
by instrument recorded in the Tompkins County Clerk's
Office on August 29, 1960 in Liber 431 of Deeds
at page 264.
d. A right of way granted to New York State
Electric and Gas by instrument dated July 7, 1969
and recorded in the Tompkins County Clerk's Office
on August 19, 1969 in Liber 483 of Deeds at page 81.
