3. Northeast Water Study Presentation / Recommendation to Town Board:
Representatives from GHD Consultants presented two options for improvements to the
Northeast Water System to meet the Town’s goals of 35 psi pressure at a service, 1,500
gpm fire flows for all hydrants and three days of storage in water tanks. Discussion
followed relative to timing of the improvements, potential impacts/benefits to adjacent
municipalities, how the proposed findings/recommendations fit into the current Capital
Improvement Plan, Sapsucker Tank replacement options and visibility associated with
raising the tank, that pipe increases to meet fire flow were a capacity issue not a pressure
issue. The Committee discussed the resolution relative to accepting the findings of GHD
for the Northeast Water Study Improvements and recommended that the Town Board
accept the findings of the study as a closure to the action taken by the Town Board to
fund the Northeast Water Study.
4. Consider Rescheduling of March Meeting:
Discussion took place relative to rescheduling the March meeting due to Jim’s
