The following are amendments to the Town. of Ithaca
Zoning Ordinance which have been adopted since the publica�
tion of the Revised. Zoning Ordinance ,
ARTICLE II , Section 3 ,
5o Any lands existing in the Town of Ithaca which
are unzoned at the time of the adoption of this amend
went , and any lands hereafter added to the ToiAm of
Ithaca by annexation or otherwise , are hereby zoned
Residence District R�15 , Any such after®acquired
lands shall automatically be zoned Residence Di. s �
triet R�15 upon such acquisition , except that such
lands may be thereafter re — zoned to any other zone.
notwithstanding the provisions . of Section 31 ,
ARTICLE VII , Section 35A ,
SECTION 35A9 Business District " E " . Permitted uses
in Business District " E „ shall be the following .
1 . Restaurant or other place for the serving of
food . If alcoholic beverages are served , the place
of business shall be located at least 500 feet from
an adjacent school or church or 150 feet from: a
residence district ,
2 . Hotel or motel ,
3 , Club House or Lodgeq provided that no buildings
so used shall be within 100 feet of the ?_ ot line
of an adjoining owner and only on the approval_ of
the Board of Appeals .

The following are amendments to the Zone Map of
the Town of Ithaca which have been adoi) ted since the
publication of the revised pone Map ,
to Adopted July 7 , 1960 Effective August 7 , 19600
Rezone the following described territory from
Residence District Ry15 to - Residence District Rw°9 ;
Commencing at a point on the east side of Now York
Highway Route 34 , bounded on the no:&th by the first
ravine south of the raili -tary lot 1 .01ne divi ding
Military Lots 88. and 89 , and bounded on the south
by the Cayuga Heights Sewage Plant , bounded on the
east by the Old Shortline Railroad bed and bounded
on the west by the State Highwayo
20 Adopted duly 21 , 1960 Effective August 7 ,, 19600
Rezone to Multiple Residence District the lands
of Cornell University now zoned Residence District
Rm30 being the property described as follo4 s: all
that parcel of , J and east of the east boundary of
the Village of Cayuga Heights and west of Pleasant
Grove Road and north of -the City of Ithaca north
boundary extended easterly ; also that parcel of land
north of the north boundary of the City of Ithaca
extended tolhe east , east of Pleasant Grove Road
and south and west of the Cornell University Golf
Course .

Trumansburg . Road on its southeast side , bounded also

fronting on Warren Road to a depth of 300 feet west
of Warren Road , except for the property now oumed
by Cornell University , is rezoned from Multiple

occupied by Paul Slater , 1002 East Shore Drive ;
thence - westerly along the southerly boun± a.ry of
the property occupied by Paul Slater to the shore
line of Cayuga Lake ; thence southerly along the
lake ' s shore around Remington:, Point to the inter
section of the lake ' s shore with the Town of Ithaca �-
City of Ithaca boundary ; thence easterly to the
j point of beginning along the City Town boundary .,

The 3 . 3 acre portion of the Otto Schoenfeld
property lying west of the Warren Road and described
as follows : bounded on the north by Heasley ; on
the south by the Toifrn of Ithaca water tower and
DeForest $ on the east by the Lucente apartments

Dis.trictp is rezoned from Residence District R�15
