JUNE 14 . , 1979
An adjourned meeting of the Town of Ithaca Planning Board was held on
Tuesday , June 14 , 1979 , in Town Hall , 126 East Seneca Street ( second floor ) ,
Ithaca , NY , at 7 : 30 p . m .
PRESENT : Chairman Henry Aron , Montgomery May , Liese Bronfenbrenner ,
James Baker , Barbara Schultz , Edward Mazza , Carolyn Grigorov , Bernard
Stanton , James V . Buyoucos ( Town Attorney ) , Lawrence P . Fabbron :i ( Town
Engineer ) .
ALSO PRESENT : Eva Hoffmann , Eveline Aron .
Chairman Aron declared the adjourned meeting duly open at 7 : 30 p . m .
MOTION by Mr . . Henry _. Aron _, seconded by Mrs . ._ Liese Bronfenbrenner :
RESOLVED , that for the purpose of discussion of the pending litigation
between the Town of Ithaca Planning Board and Mr . Keller and Mrs . Schmitt
in the matter of the Ivar Jonson proposed Subdivision off Texas Lane , the
Planning Board retire and hereby does retire into Executive Session , the
Town Attorney being here present to inform said Planning Board of the status
of such litigation .
There being no further discussion , the Chair called for a vote .
Aye - Aron , May , Bronfenbrenner , Baker , Schultz , Mazza , Grigorov , Stanton .
Nay - None ,
The MOTION was declared to be carried unanimously .
EXECUTIVE SESSION
From 7 : 35 p . m . until 8 : 40 p . m . the Planning Board members were
apprised of the status of the litigation in the Ivar Jonson subdivision
matter , the arguments for which will be heard by the Court on June 21st ,
1979 .
The public in attendance remained so and no resolutions , determina-
tions or orders took place nor any action taken .
RE - OPENING OF MEETING
The meeting was re - opened at 8 : 40 p . m . in accordance with the Open
Meetings Law . The Chair thanked Mr . Buyoucos for his time and effort .
ADJOURNMENT
Upon Motion by Mr . Henry Aron , seconded by Mr . Edward Mazza , and a
unanimous vote in the affirmative , the meeting was duly adjourned at 8 : 45
p . m .
