A special meeting of the Town of Ithaca Planni.rag Board was held at the

Chairman Desch called this public hearing to order : j 7 ; 45 P . M , Mr ; : Desch

linea It was suggested that the parking lot along Mr . Rin :.er ° s land be
eliminated and these Gp .f ces moved closer to the buildings , This would
then eliminate the auxiliary road .
Mr . . T` apis pointed out to Mir . Pinker and Ire Chatf . eld a an area resident
that the developers are local people , and lir@ Strok will live on the site ,
managing it himself , Mr . Tsapis also pointed out that by tying in with . the
Cayuga Heights water station , there will be ample fire protectiono
This hearing was closed at S f lS Pa K2 John Vaasa left the room and did
not participate in the vote due to a conflict of interest ,
WHEREAS the public hearing was held for the purpose of reviewing the -; te
plan as required by Article IX „ Section 46 ( a ) ;D of the Zoning Ordinance
and two persons having appoarzd to express �asa opimi on on the propo' e: d
development . The Town Planning Board , therefores approves the site plana
with the following modif-i cat : ons

for screening .

3 . The owner will obtain approval from the adjacent mun cipali:ty

main at Sunse °4 Drive to provide a loop system * Every effo -ot should be made
to obtain easements from the Sunset Drive hoo` ,� up before a booster purip

will be provided for the proposed development and the existing homes in
the area .
4 . The owner will extend public sewer mains to the project at
his own cost as indicated on the plan and shall provide a minimum lOmfoot
easement from the northeasternmost manhole to the north property line of
the proposed development for a future surer system .
5 . Both water and sewer mains wyll be deeded to the Town, of
Ithaca .
Upon motion by Mr . Phillips , seconded by Mr . Schwan and carried by
unanimous vote , the above resolution was : «sled .
NORTHWEST SEWER MATER DISTRICTS
Mr . Phillips and Pair . Schwan , co:rpr1sing a committee to look into this
matter , presented the Board with their fundings . Initially , this was one
large district with an extremely high unit costs therefore causing many
of the resi
