A meeting; of the Town of Ithaca Planning Board was held at

The meeting was called to order at 74. 45 Pe4M
No actio was taken on approval of the minutes of the July
meeting or to ratify proposed resolutions resulting from
said July meeting at which a quorum was not presents

Zoning Gffi cer be given permission to grant building permits

It was also moved by Mr . Wiggins ,, seconded by 1V1rr Phillips

by a Committee of this Board who inspected the development
and area on a recent field trip as a group :� There was some
discussion as to shortwening the time to be allowed for the
compl al" on of this up�grading work in this area. ,, but no

After discussion it was moved by Tiro Wiggins , seconded by
Nrd Phillips and approved by unanimous vote teat this Board
resolves that the Zoning Officer is hereby directed to revoke
building permits numbered 8409 841 , and 842 issued on 7/26/65
for three new apartment bta 'inZs in th.i.=ucente development
Located at 6039 607 , and 61. 1. Winston Court , upon the ground ;
that the Dcvclop,`Mr Eas fated to comply with Article V19
Section 30 and Article IX , Section A-6 of the Zoning Ordinance
o.f the Town of Ithaca .

for planning purposes ,, it was moved by T:Ir , Wiggins , seconded
by Mr. Schvran and approved by unarr mous vote that the Zoning
Officer is hereby authorized to proceed with the making of
a Cormposi. te Photo Map utilizing outside technical help and
our available 4001 scale photos
It was also further moved by T'ilr6 -s,,Tiggins , seconded by Mr .
Phillips and approved by unanimous vote that , in conjunction
with the above photo map , that all preliminary and final
sub �di.visi. on playas submitted to date and hereafter submitted
be photos reduced to appropriate size and in identifying
calors for placing on the photos map at the proper loca-ti. ons .,

needs and requirements and suggested tie �ins with the community
for the orderly and comprehensive development of higher
education faci xiti. es . He indicated interest shown by both
Cornell and Ithaca College in this type of study and planning
for this <a- reaa It was the sense of the Board that this
theory be pursued since it could quite possibly be advantageous
and helpful to all concerned in view of both Cornell and
Ithaca Colleges rapid and extensive growth,

Mro Liguori and (arri. ed , that , it is the sense of the Planning
Board that the Zoning Hoard of A.ppealsg in considering the
Reulein application for multiple residence development on
the Trumansburg Roadv may have overlooked ,article SPI , Section
28 , sub 5 of the Ordinance which limits construction of
multiple residences to two stories oxo the street side , which
this Board believes to be applicable regardless of whether
or not a ? one charge or a. change of use is granted This
Board would welcome an opportunity to discuss this matter
w± th the Zoning Board of ;appeals at their convenience
( Zoning Officer has notified all members of both Boards ,
by Dost Card , of such a joint meeting , to be held at 8 : 30 P - M ,,
at the Town Office on Augustl.8v 1965 , at the conclusion of
a regularly scheduled Zoning Board of Appeal :; public hearing . )
The ZoningOfficer was also requested to invite Mro Buyoucosy
