" Move that upon final approval of the above proposed sub-
division the two lots numbered 63 and 64 located on Salem
Drive and previously required to be reserved for park
purposes , be released and revert to Mr . Lucente for private
development * and further that Mre Lucente is required to
frunish to this Board , in addition to the requirements of
Section 46 of the Zoning Ordinance , the following informations

After further discussion , Mro Phillips moved , seconded by
11r . Liguori and approved by unanimous votes that the proposed
preliminary sub division plan , dated 10/3/59 , as additionally
marked up by this Board to show Multiple Residence area and
park area , and filed with the Town , be granted preliminary
approval & Ptlr . Lucente is to furnish a more detailed site
plan to thiO . : Board of the area requested for multiple
residence re- zoning before the Board cane proceed with its
study of the multiple zone: request
IDBI.1AN BOW INC LANES ** A building permit application and site
,6=Te; val. Ing 9 e was presented to the Board showing the
Ideman property , IBusiness 0e1 honing , located on Judd Palls
Road and requesting permission to extend the bowling alley
building to provide spaoa for a ulaetin,g-lounge room and
dining room area at 6. approximate cost of $ 30 , 000 - 00 . The
proposal does not affect any parking or drive area and does
not decrease present distances between existing buildings &

It was moved by Mr . Lacy , ;; econ.ded by T r . Perry and adopted
by unanimous vote- , that the requested permission to add on
the bowling alley buileling as shown on the site plan entitled
" George W . Ide:man Property " Tevised date September 23 , 1960
by Thomas Miller , P x. E t v be granted subject to the conditions
that the new construction conform architeetually with the
xisti.ng structure , and the use thereof conforms with the
present uses as permitted by the present Business f' 0 " zoning

The Secretary was directed to write a letter of appreciation
and thanks to Mr6 Waring for his fine service to t4e ' Town
and to this Board during his long term of service ,
Chairman Vasse appointed Kr . Liguori as a nominating committee
of one to recommend additional persons to be nominated for
this vacancy ,,. Mr . Wiggins suggested Howard Cogan as another
nominee for the postm
SEWER ORDTHANCEt The ezi. sting Town of Ithaca Sewer Ordinance ,
as re evi o this ROard by the Town. Board for revisions ,
was dirt ted to Kre Liguori for his study and recommendations
before any Board action on same & Mro Li. guoti requested
that he be furnished to':L t's1 a copy of the Lozier Consultants ,
Inco suggested Sewer Ordinance to aid in this matter e
EXCAVATION ORDINANCEa The Highway Excavation. Ordinance ,

and after suggesting changes in that the Town Clerk be

Board , held Tuesday ,, zu?arch 9 . 196: 5 , upon motion duly made
by Frariz Liguori , seconded b,� Elmer Phillips , and unanimously
carried , tins following resolution was duly adopted ;
RESOLVED that , in fu0411f :1111i ng our responsi.bi li ti. es in.
Alarming the future development of the Greater. Ithaca. area ,
we hereby enthusiae tically endorse the Ithaca Festival ,
We firmly believe that the. cx' eation of the Pestival IS
compatible with the resources and the spirit of Ithaca
as the educational , cultural and recreational center of
the Finger Lakes regi on.z
