following resolution- was adopted
"Whereas , the proposal for a County Fair Grounds oar the

feasible to coil aider this request from the standpoint of

BOX C01-1PANY : Chairman Vasse reported on a meeting he had

it now looks like early spring as a target for start of
construction on the nein industrial plant and the Town Load
to be built by the Town to service the a:,:°ea �
SUB-IDIVISION ORDINANCE : The Zoning Officer reminded the

Division Ordinance z The Chairman indicated that in the
abe � n.ca of recommendations from the Town Engineer as
requested by the Tw4n Board on this matter , that this
Board should proceed to study and recommend changes , as
requested , to the Town Board a The Zoning Officer was direct -
ed to fz?rbizh extra copies of the subject Ordinance to all
Board members .,
TOWN OFPICE SPACE . Considerable favorable Qomment was made

Whereas a. t is within the interest and benefit of the
people of the Twmin, of Ithaca that a sound :plan be adopted.

Whereas the planning Board inrecognition of this need
has commiosi. oned the Regi. on.al. Planning Board to hake a study
of the recreational areas .needs of the Town , and
whereas the Regional. Planning Board has submitted a.
ORecareation Study Report " which outlines the present and
future needs of the town including the proposed development,
of .five play parks strategically located throughout the town ,
be it therefore
Resolved that the Planning Board respectfully recommends
that the Town Board **
1 . .Accepts the °, Recreation Study " as a general guide,
for the developm:; nt of neighborhood play parks in the Yawn
of Ithaca .
2o Designates the Planning Board to act as a Town
Pari: Commission to locate and negotiate the acquisition of
park sites and plan the development of such parka with final.

the next 10 years ( upon annual recommendation of the Planning
Board ) to provide funds for the acquisition and development
